The new version d’accord Scan XL 2.2 is available for download. The latest release of the digital print inspection software contains, among others, the following new features to compare PDF with Scans.

  • NEW: Layout and functions of the GUI completely revised:
    • The Difference Gallery is now integrated into the main window for better visibility and usability. Position adaptable via the menu item View > Difference Gallery > Default Position/Left/Right
    • Switch to change the page range between Page/All
    • Switch to change the view between Show items in a list oder Show items as icons
    • Size of the symbols can be adjusted with the slider at the bottom right
    • List view can be sorted according to columns by clicking on the corresponding column header
    • List view with comments incl. autocompletion: Completion based on existing list entries and based on predefined categories under Settings > Display > Categories
    • Keyboard-Shortcuts in the list view:
      • Cursor Up/Down to navigate the current row
      • SPACE: Set or remove OK checkmarks, resp. (Toggle)
      • RETURN: Edit comment
    • Sieve for small deviations: Differences can be split into a gallery with larger deviations and second gallery with smaller differences. To do this, pull the splitter (round point under the list) up and set the sieve size with the slider.
    • Filter Show OK only or Show not OK only with buttons in the toolbar
  • NEW: Add-On Batch for automation via command line interface (CLI)
  • NEW: In the report Annotated PDF A+B, markings on differences can be navigated as PDF comments
  • NEW (Mac version): Optimizations for parallel processing on Apple silicon M1 / M2
  • NEW: App icon modernized
  • Fix: Loading/saving of project files

With d’accord Scan, you can check your printed products against the ready-to-print PDF. The digital print inspection shows you all differences between scan and PDF – as a side-by-side comparison of the two versions and with a navigable list of differences.

With the version d’accord Scan XL, you can check the entire print sheet against the imposed PDF using a large-format scanner (e.g. DIN A0).

The areas of application of d’accord Scan M include multi-page brochures, manuals, technical documentation, catalogs and commercials, which you can digitize with a feed scanner (e.g. DIN A4) or a flatbed scanner (e.g. DIN A3).
